Seymour Ceike was born on September 4, 1975 in Rhode Island. He was born to Fredda and Julian Ceike who later relocated with Seymour to Townsend, Massachusetts. Seymour spent his childhood helping his father with his tree cutting business, Neighborhood Tree Service. He enjoyed his time with his father in the woods cutting trees. They were best friends. Seymour started playing the guitar when he was 13 years old. His music influences include: Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bob Marley, Jerry Garcia and Led Zeppelin. Seymour went on to graduate high school and attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell as a music performance major. He received his bachelor's degree in 1998 and he is a classically trained musician. Seymour played the guitar in various bands in his twenties and he continued to cut trees with his father until he decided to make music his full time career when he moved out to Oregon in 2018. Seymour also got sober. Seymours music centers around hope, positivity and recovery. He released his first album, "Julian" in 2019 with Bentley Records under the band name Soul Bird Band. He now lives in Oregon and creates music under his name, Seymour Ceike on all streaming services.
