PoolWerx is an Australasian pool and spa care network.

Organizational background[edit]

PoolWerx was started in Australia by founder, John O'Brien, with a team of mobile pool cleaners in 1992.

PoolWerx operates within the swimming pool and spa aftermarket by offering home servicing and pool supplies and equipment to an estimated 300,000 domestic pools. PoolWerx currently employs 700 people throughout Australia and New Zealand, which is spread between its franchise system and head office in Brisbane, Queensland.[1]

The PoolWerx franchise system operates by allowing franchisees to establish satellite stores within their vans intra-territory and by occupying several territories develop their small business.[2]
