The Port of Chehalis is a local government agency that oversees an industrial park of the same name located in Chehalis, Washington.
History[edit]
A 1952 fire at a pharmaceutical company that was the largest employer in Chehalis led to formation of a community group known as "Adventure in Cooperation". The volunteer initiative led to the beginning of the Chehalis Industrial Commission which created the Chehalis Industrial Park, also known as the Port of Chehalis.[1]
