Advanced Translation Research Center[edit]

The Advanced Translation Research Center (ATRC) is a research center in Saarland University that focuses on translation and interpretation by studying Theoretical Linguistics of the human language. The University of Saarland holds master's degree programs for those who want to enhance the Theoretical Linguistics Dynamics and Variation. It prepares students for a career in linguistics research. Students on the program receive practical and theoretical guidance that introduces them to the latest researches in the Theoretical failed.

The University of Saarland is a modern research university in German. it is located in Saarbrucken, the capital of the state of Saarland. The research canter is a facility established at the University Of Saarland for doing research with collaborative research, research training, research dissemination, and creative endeavors. However, The University provides students with an outstanding research environment.

Languages and Linguistic Overview[1][edit]

Human language is a one way of communication with one another through oral and written system. It is the first method of communication with each others. However, every languages have originated their own sound to communicate orally and originated their own characters of scripts and every group of people has their own language that they use. The University of Saarland focuses on the scientific side of the language and they hold five languages in the department of languages, which are English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.

Construction of Theoretical linguistics[2][edit]

Theoretical linguistics, or general linguistics, is the branch of linguistics which examine the nature of language itself and seeks to answer fundamental questions as to what language is; how it works; how universal grammar (UG) as a domain-specific mental organ operates if it exists at all; what are its unique properties; how does language relate to other cognitive processes, etc. Theoretical linguists are most concerned with constructing models of linguistic knowledge and ultimately developing a linguistic theory. The study of theoretical linguistics in Saarland oriented a master's degree program in Dynamics and Variation. The student will work with the academic specialties in the field to explore the major

The Language Requirements of the Applicants with Foreign Qualifications[edit]

Applicants who do not have a recognized proof of German at the end of the application period can apply for external participation in the German Language Examination for University Entrance or the Preparatory German Course at Saarland University International Study Center Saarland

For the external participation in the University of Saarland knowledge of German at an advanced level C1 is necessary. Applicants with knowledge of German at a lower level than C1 can apply for the preparatory German course.
