Siggy O'Hara is an overly enthusiastic rookie on Wikipedia, with a completely romantic notion about Wikipedia as an altruistic tool for richer human understanding. Siggy's also overly sentimental about belonging to a community.

Perspectives and biases[edit]

Hopefully varied, but probably myopic. I'm fond of my conservative Christian religious upbringing, but at the same time I'm against evangelical colonialism. For that reason I'm interested in Indigenous solidarity. I'm also against the idea of a post-racist society; I believe that systemic racism dominates North American culture. I'm also fascinated in the process of deconstructing the gender binary. All this to say, I really like Racialicious and Jessica Yee, and so I've been attempting to create pages for them.
