Ratna Tara Baidhya is the first women ICT Chief in Nepal [[1]]. She is also the coordinator of women in “IT’’, CAN ( Computer Association Nepal).[citation needed]
Career[edit]
Even though she completed masters degree in english literature, she was interested in IT but as IT had not developed as a separate field of study back then,she joined various trainings to learn computer system and programming. Later on,she started training students and other officers on her own. She has been involved in IT field since 1985 . She is currently working as IT manager at Nepal Bangladesh Bank, since 1994 till present.[1]

She completed her early education from Adarsha Vidya Mandir and has acquired Masters Degree in English Literature.[citation needed]
