Sivaprasad Palode
[edit]Sivaprasad Palode is famous in the fields of Malayalam poetry, novel, short story and teaching. He has received the state teacher award of the public education department Kerala in 2022. He has also won the 2021 Gurushrestha Award given to the best teachers by the National Teachers' Federation. He is the editor of a digital magazine called Kavibhasha. He led the river walking program as a member of the Nellipuzha Conservation Committee. He is an executive member of Learning Teachers Kerala, a science teachers association. Participated in establishing Science Park, Geo Learning Lab and Adapted Science Park across the state. Under Vidyasahiti, an association of writers and teachers of the state, audio books are being read out for the visually challenged. Notable school entrance festival songs have been prepared.
Literary Career
[edit]Mannenambi written on the theme of the tribal life in Attapadi, Pandemic Diary, the first novel in Indian languages on the theme of the Covid era, Arikomban the life of the tribes and the wild elephant named Arikomban, and the children's novels Friends of Tham Luang, which are about the experiences of children trapped in the Tham Luang cave in Thailand. A collection of elephant stories Elipandana, Ethu Kili Patanam?, Pchildren's literature, Rasakudukku, Science Experiments for Children, stories of the Corona period, short story collections called Nuru Nurukatha, poetry collections Temple Run and Varavupokkul have been published. Kamalsuriya Novel Award for the novel Manne Nambi and Rajalakshmi Award for the poem Temple Run have been published. He has received the Vidyarangam Katha Award for the short story and the Vidyarangam Kavita Award for the poem Uzham. Children's books Science Experiments,Friends of Tham Luang were recommended for purchase by DPI Kerala to school libraries.
Life
[edit]Born in 1975 at Thachanattukara Palode in Palakkad district Kerala. Father Kunnath Ramamagupta Mother Parukutty. Education at Govt LP School Pazancheri, VPAUP School Kundurkunnu, Kundurkunnu High School, Mannarkad MES Kalladi College. Completed teachers training from Govt. TTI, Chittoor. Graduated in Malayalam from Calicut University. He is currently a teacher in VPAUP schoo Kundurkunnu. Wife Soumya and children Athira and Adityan
