Mercury(II) hydroxide or mercury dihydroxide is an inorganic metal hydroxide with the chemical formula HgH2O2 or more commonly written as Hg(OH)2.

Synthesis[edit]

"Mercury (II) hydroxide can be prepared via irradiating a mixture of Hg, H2, and O2 in solid neon and argon with a mercury arc lamp."[1]

Uses[edit]

Since Mercury (II) Hydroxide cannot be isolated as either an aqueous or solid compound, there are no known uses.
