Elijah Mack is an American surfer from Oceanside California. He is best known for his contributions to the sport of river surfing.

After spending his entire life surfing ocean waves Elijah ending up in Oregon and started searching for river waves. In 2003 he founded The World River Surfing Association. 
Elijah was not the first river surfer in the world but it was his extensive exploration for river waves from 2002 to 2009 that made him the most well known individual in the sport of river surfing.   Elijah has surfed "stationary" waves in Oregon, Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, California, Washington State, British Columbia, Montreal, Munich, Africa and four separate Surfstream wave machine installation in New jersey, Taiwan, Turks & Caicos, and Sweden.
 Elijah is the only non-local member of the famous river surfing club from Munich, Germany- The FUS Crew.  Elijah is the only non-local member of the river surfing club from Montreal, Canada-The Goon Squad. Elijah is the only non-local member of the river surfing club from Alberta, Canada-The Murder-  
The Alberta River Surfing Association, The Manitoba River Surfing Association, and The Colorado river Surfing Association has list Elijah on their websites as "The Godfather of River Surfing and praise his influence on the sport.
Elijah appeared in two documentaries. "Miles to Surf" by James Fullbright. "Keep Surfing" by Bjoern Richie Lob. "Keep Surfing" was a major motion picture release in Germany by 20th Century Fox and was selected to The Tribeca Film Fest.
Elijah was featured on "Oregon Field Guide" on Oregon Public Broadcasting network.
Elijah was feature in Sierra Club magazine. 
Elijah was featured in The Surfers Path magazine.
