Damascus, Queensland Damascus is 8kms north of Gin Gin off the Bruce Highway. It is mainly a farming area for produce and cattle with the irrigation channel going through it. There are a small number of residential blocks with only three roads coming off Damascus Road being Runges Road, McIntyres Road and Crawlers Road. The Gin Gin Rural Fire Brigade have their fire station on Crawlers Road.
