Indoor air pollution - Why this is matter in Oregon?[1][edit]

Oregon is a state bordering the Pacific Ocean in the western United States. Therefore, the wind from the ocean blows air inland causing temperatures to increase which also increase the humidity.  Oregon's natural surroundings cause lots of mold and pollutants in homes.  Radon gas is an issue that should not be taken lightly.  Since radon is by product of radioactive gas, it can be present in homes getting in through vents, doors and other easily penetrable points. Some ways to remove radon gas and other pollutants from homes is to open doors so that fresh air can enter.  Overall, radon gas is a matter that needs attention so that homeowners can reduce the risks of this pollutant in their homes.
