Paul Maroon is an American rock musician and son of photographer Fred J. Maroon.[1] He plays the guitar and keyboard and was a member of Jonathan Fire*Eater and The Walkmen.

Maroon also scored the Academy Award winning short documentary Heaven Is a Traffic Jam on the 405 (2018)[2] and is a contributing writer of The A.V. Club where he writes "Marooned", answering questions by readers about the music industry.[3]
