Sockster is a new vandalism and sockpuppet network being developed by a group of trolls, vandals and POV Pushers. The aim is to cause chaos by "death by a thousand socks". So far there are 500 sockpuppets in the network, none of which been used for vandalism yet. Once there is a thousand socks the strategy will begin.

There will be the demand that several high profile administrators be banned and that selected highly controversial aricles will be deleted. If these demands are not met by the dead line then the sockster network will launch.

How it works

Sockster is a very highly advanced network. Over 100 vandals, trolls and even disgruntled ex-Wikipedians have donated their accounts to the Sockster initaive. The rules for a sockster sock puppet are as follows, as to avoid inital suspision

• At least 100 edits (to hide the sock puppet)
• Must have unique IP address
• Must have a deviation of edits to avoid edit pattern checking.
• Must not impersonate an existing user or vandal

Every computer part of the Sockster network has the sockster client installed, This will run the distributed Sockbots on each computer, with randomly selected sockpuppets taking action as to avoid easy dection.

uses

The sockster network will be put to the following uses.

• Edit wars. The sockster puppets will go on masive edit wars, where the 3RR is 100% inneffective due to the unique sockpuppetry.
• Vandal admins, by using the sockster network to nominate and promote users to admins for the purpose of vandalism.
• Policy. Use for pushing unfavorable polcies by force.
• Deletion vandalism. By using VFD to trigger mass delete votes.

Will it work?

This is a co-ordinated attack from the Wikipedia's most sophisticated vandals, who have done a lot of research into sockpuppets. There is a high chance of causing massive damage, but if the Wikipedia community reacts it wil; need to stop using systems abusable by socks. This is a highly dangerous system, if you wish to avoid concequences, give in to the Sockster demands!
