STOP INCORRECTLY TALKING ABOUT COLORS, PLEASE[edit]

Hello, it is me, squigglymoomouse, and I am here today to talk about how people call colors the wrong names. If someone were to ask what the color of grass was, most people would respond with "green". However, this is incorrect completely. Grass is grass colored, not green. People need to stop calling grass green when it is obviously
not
green.
Another problem I have with people calling colors the wrong names is that people really believe that it is correct. How could someone look another person in the eyes and say "grass is green"? It is something I will never understand. Colors deserve to be called what they are. Stop being lazy and just throwing them all into one category. Have you ever wondered why most of your black pants and shirts don't match each other perfectly? Why one always just happens to be lighter or darker than the other? Yes? Well that is because they are not the same color. One could be, for example, abyss. Please, stop putting all types of colors into one category. There are so many different names for each type of color you group into one category. There is apple red, cherry red, rose red, jam red, wine red, scarlet red, berry red, candy red, lipstick red, mahogany red, brick red, crimson red, ruby red, blush red, etc. The same for yellow. There is canary yellow, gold yellow, daffodil yellow, butter yellow, lemon yellow, mustard yellow, corn yellow, medallion yellow, dandelion yellow, fire yellow, bumblebee yellow, banana yellow, butterscotch yellow, honey yellow, and so many more! All colors are just like this! But so many people don't realize that, and they call APPLE RED regular red. It needs to stop. Please. I am begging you to stop categorizing colors so broadly and to take the time to actually call them what they are. I found this video on YouTube from this really funny girl talking about the same thing I am. Anyone who reads this should take the time to watch it. It is called "Colors Are Ruining My Life" by PinkieRuth!
