The Billington Bulldogs is an English professional wrestling tag team consisting of brothers Mark and Thomas Billington. They are currently signed to Major League Wrestling.
Background
[edit]Mark and Thomas Billington are the nephews and first cousins once removed to the original British Bulldogs Dynamite Kid (Thomas Billington) and Davey Boy Smith, their father Mark being the younger brother of Dynamite Kid. Before their uncle's death they promised him that they would become wrestlers one day.[1] Their father passed away in June 2023.[2][3]
History
[edit]The team were trained by and performed for Marty Jones's Squared Circle Academy. They debuted professionally on February 10 2019 at a This is Wrestling event.[4] The following month they wrestled for a memorial show for their uncle Dynamite Kid.[5] The pair has trained with their second cousin Davey Boy Smith Jr.[6] and Bret Hart.[7]
In October 2022 the team were announced for Major League Wrestling (MLW)'s event Fightland.[8] On the event they teamed with Davey Boy Smith Jr. in a trios match.[9] They officially signed to the promotion the next month.[10][11][12]
