The Least Dangerous Branch: The Supreme Court at the Bar of Politics is a nonfiction book focusing on law and the Supreme Court. It was written by Alexander M. Bickel and originally published in 1962 by The Bobbs-Merrill Company.[1][2] The second edition was published by Yale University Press in 1986 with a new Foreword by Harry Wellington, former Dean of Yale Law School.[3]
