Usage[edit]

{{User:StevenJ81/userbsd2}}

This is the default case, and renders as a right-justified userbox.

This user built his/her user page with the help of HaShem. בס"ד

The text of this template changes between his, her and his/her depending on the gender preference you have selected.

{{User:StevenJ81/userbsd2|float=left}}

If you add the parameter |float=left, you get a left-justified userbox:

{{User:StevenJ81/userbsd2|hdate=yes}}

With the optional parameter |hdate=yes, the userbox adds the Hebrew date.

  • Default time zone is UTC.
  • Date changes at 18:00/6:00 pm local time. (To select a local time different from UTC, see just below.)

בס"ד
{{User:StevenJ81/userbsd2|hdate=yes|tz=time_zone[|dst=no]}}

This allows the Hebrew calendar date adjustment to be based on a time zone of your choice.

  • time_zone can be any time zone supported by the template {{Current hour offset in time zone}}. Adding a time zone adds automatic support for dst transition.
  • Include |dst=no to suppress automatic dst transition (such as in Arizona or Saskatchewan, where dst is not observed).
(Float-left example, using |tz=MST|dst=no)

{{User:StevenJ81/userbsd2|hdate=yes|offset=offset}}

This allows the Hebrew calendar date adjustment to be based on a time offset of your choice.

  • Using a time offset will override any time zone in the template
  • DST is not supported
  • Non-integer time offsets from UTC are supported.

(example using |offset=+5.5)
