My name is Steve Stretton, welcome to my page!

I have registered to add content and provide improvements to those areas where I feel I have a strong level of knowledge and understanding. I am a Economics teacher at Key Stage 4, a Finance and Management Graduate from the University of Salford, and a Chartered Accountant from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Away from work I have interest in Data mining and am currently writing a paper on Social Media Engineering.

Instagram[edit]

On the 11th December 2014 i made edits to the Intagram article, to reflect the updated 2014 monthly usage figures. I feel there is a massive scope to improve this article (I have noticed a number of areas where the information is incomplete and inaccurate).

The University of Salford[edit]

On the 11th December 2014 I made edits to my former University The University of Salford page under the section 'Teaching Quality and Rankings'. These edits were made were to reflect the new version of The Times and Sunday Times University league tables, where Salford had unfortunately dropped from 84th in 2010 to 2015.

The Warrington Peace Centre[edit]

On 7th December 2014 I made edits to the article related to the charity The The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace indicating that it and the Peace Centre are not one and the same thing. I am not yet prepared to start a page on the Peace Centre on it's own, though I may research and write about it later to practice uploading images and setting articles on my own.

Warrington[edit]

On 5th December 2014 I began learning Wikipedia by editing a series of articles about my hometown, Warrington. I have cleared up some language on the subject of the local Peace Centre and I have also added a table to the Education segment.
