Carson Scott is a TV Anchor and the Chief Business Correspondent at Sky News Business, a cable network in Australia. Carson Scott anchors First Business, At the Open, Trading Day, On the Record and Law TV and is the Sky News Business Channel's Chief Business Correspondent.

With over 17 years experience in journalism spanning print, radio and television, Carson delivers insight into what's moving the markets in Australia and abroad, asking the questions and getting the answers you need to know to be better informed.

Carson joined the Business Channel from Russia Today in Moscow, presenting 'Business Today' on the global 24/7 news channel. On air from its inception in 2005, he interviewed everyone from traders to the Chief of Russia's stock market (RTS), alongside 1-on-1's with international CEOs grappling with the Statist-cum-capitalist business environment inside the world's largest country.

Previously, Carson was at Sky News in London where he worked across their output for three years, including a spell in the political bureau in Millbank. At the same time he was a freelance correspondent for a number of New Zealand news organizations and in 1995 was awarded a Reader's Digest Investigative Journalism Award.

Australian-born, Carson holds a conjoint BA (Politics/English) LLB degree from the University of Auckland and was called to the Bar
