Early Life[edit]

Meighan was born on July 25th, 1985. Raised in Toronto, Canada. She's the 2nd oldest of her four siblings. She went to a total of 5 elementary schools, and 3 high schools which made it very easy for her to adapt to new people, and communities around her. She took gymnastics for 5 years, karate for 3, and loved participating in the schools' musical theater plays and on their sports teams. Singing, dancing, and performing were three of Meighan's passions. Prince, TLC, Aaliyah, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, and Salt N Pepa were one of her many influences. She loved performing in the busiest parts of Toronto mainly with her friends for fun, and joined singing competitions held in the communities.

In 2001 Meighan auditioned to be a dancer on the acclaimed Much Music Television show Electric Circus for which she was accepted. There she would meet a friend who introduced her to a producer Adrian Gariba[2] who was looking for a vocalist for a hip hop album for rapper "Stryke". Meighan recorded her first track "Amazed"[3] in New York at Quad Studios[4].

In 2004 Meighan decided to move to Taiwan alone to study Chinese but also work on her first demo "Just Like This" produced by Robeter Productions[5], which attracted now famous producer Nicola Fasano and recorded "PICTURE" in Italy. Meighan grew to have a new passion for Electronic music.

In 2006 she decided to move to London, England, and work on her music from there. She flew to Germany for a collaboration with DJ Cosmo (Thomas Godel), and featured on a track [6] called "Naked"[7]. She then met Trance producer Ashley Wallbridge and featured on 3 tracks "I Believe", "My Blood", "Faces[8]" (Ashley Wallbridge & Andy Moor feat. Meighan Nealon" which all earned top 10's on Beatport.

In 2010, she recently featured on a track with China's producer Yuan called "Broken System". She was contacted by the Discovery Channel's TRAVEL AND LIVING show's "FUN TAIWAN"[9] producers invited her to be a special guest on their show as an artist alongside host Janet Hsieh[10]. Meighan recently collaborated with Taipei based rapper "Manchuker" AP[11] who is a well known underground hip hop artist and featured on his album. She then appeared in the Music Video directed by Joshua Lin 林柄存[12], a photographer, director in Asia. The song was called "Summer of Mine" Manchuker AP feat. Meighan Nealon produced by Adrian Gariba, which received wide circulation on Asia's Channel V network as well as various fm radio stations in Asia.

Meighan is currently based in Taipei, working on recording her solo music project which will be R&B/HIP HOP with an ELECTRONIC 80's flare. She has made the decision to use Meighan rather than Meighan Nealon for her future solo work.
