Hello to anyone who has decided to "check me out." I am an American - born and raised - with a diverse European ancestry. To my knowledge I am German, Swiss, English, Scottish, Irish, French, and Swedish. A regular "mutt" who is proud of every nationality that flows with my blood. Maybe because of my "muttness" as it were, I am more inviting/inquisitive of others. No matter what - we are all the same - humans. I am interested in history - especially that of Europe - but also the "Americas" and the original settlers - the American Indians. I speak English, and a little German, and even less French (two years in college and I have forgotten most - what a shame). I am interested in different languages and wish I had the time (and finances) to learn MANY. I do not judge a country by its politicians/government. I know how that feels and it just isn't right. Wars are a ridiculous waste and should at least be fought by those who want it - and not the average citizen/proletariat who is just trying to get by in life.

I love to hear/learn about other cultures/countries. Politics are interesting and I welcome others views but ABSOLUTELY NO FLAMING will be tolerated. Agree to disagree. If you have an arguement - support it with as many facts as you can find. Be respectful and treat others as you want to be treated.

Just in case you want to know - I am a registed nurse (RN). My areas of expertise is ICU/CICU/ER/Trauma.
