Henry Zvi Lothane

Henry Zvi Lothane, M.D., is an American psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine specializing in the area of psychotherapy. He introduced the concept of dramatology to psychiatry and psychotherapy.

Lothane has an ongoing interest in the history of psychiatry and psychoanalysis. His book[1] on the life and work of Daniel Paul Schreber examines those histories in the 19th century and early 20th century against the background of psychiatry and psychoanalysis of that period.
