Al-Furqan Media Productions (Arabic: مؤسسة الفرقان للإنتاج الإعلامي) also called al-Furqan Foundation for Media Production, is the original media outlet for the Islamic State (ISIS). It was founded in November of 2006 and its media releases are primary in the Arabic language.[2]


Al-Hayat Media Center (HMC) (Arabic: مركز الحياة للإعلام, English: The Life Center for Media), not to be confused with Al-Hayat news, was formed in May 2014 as the English language outlet for the Islamic State.[3]

Ajnad Media Foundation was founded in January 2014 to focuses on releasing in jihadi chants.[4]
