I am not sure why you have commented on this image. The fair use rational is given on the page:

Fair use for [[Gomi Kosuke] The image linked here is claimed to be used under fair use as:

  1. it is a historically significant photo of a famous individual;
  2. it is of much lower resolution than the original (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality)
  3. the photo is only being used for informational purposes.

The image also meets all nine criteria per WP:Fair Use guidelines. If I am missing something, please specify. --MChew 15:04, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Mouse Traps

My points are made on the discussion page of the mouse trap article and I would prefer for this conversation to be had there. One might argue that it's necessary to show how a mouse trap works; in that case a drawing or diagram will do perfectly well. There are photos on the page of the traps in their "empty" state, as well as humane traps with mice inside, these are informative enough and I only object to the images of dead animals. This is particularly an issue because "Mouse Trap" is also the name of a children's board game, and it was the history of this that I was looking for. I found the images of the dead mice to be shocking and violent, and more importantly, not suitable for anybody searching for information about a children's game. I was hoping for my search for "mouse trap" to lead to a disambiguation page - if it will lead to this page instead, the images should be removed. As I say, they have no informative value anyway, as long as less graphic diagrams are substituted.

Bob Knight "Vandalism"

You recently gave me a "last warning" based on my edit to the Bob Knight page.

If you took the time to look at the changes, you'll see I removed vandalism and moved an external link up to a more appropriate placement in the article.

I know that anons tend to be vandals, but rather than immediately assuming what I did was vandalism, consider taking the time to look at what the edits did.

I removed the speedy/copyvio notice from this. It turns out that they're just sucking up Wikipedia articles and republishing them under the GFDL. Check the notice on the page you quoted. We got there first :). Thanks for reporting, though - Alison 17:55, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Fixed now, by somehow reloading exactly the same template onto the page, it's a complete mystery how and why this happened, but it seemed it was potraying me as some kind of vandal, the image that was used in the box didn't exsist either. Retiono Virginian 18:36, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi Centrx, I havent spoke to you since about October, hope you are doing OK! I thought that user (Crazyman or something like that!) would get the point that it was suitable for a block if he continued, another sysop blocked user who I warned for no copyright tagged images about 7 times, and multiple one from Orphan Bot. WP:RFA

Responded at the appropriate venue. Do you think 2 months experience and over 2000 edits is enough to go up for RFA. Because I am really urging to become a wikipedia sysop at the minute, and I'm wondering about when I should go up and what I should improve on. Retiono Virginian 16:24, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

I always participate in those dicussions; I even started a XFD dicussion once Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jared Yates and successfully had the page deleted. Reverting vandalism is not all I do; but overall I think you're right. I should wait a while until I have a high chance of passing rather than suffer the embarassment of failing RFA, after RFA (lol). Not offended at all Tellyaddict, and you are certainly right. I am well aware that the wikipedia editors will do all they can to critisize, and point out the smallest mistakes creating them into big faults. For instance I was shocked that because a few months ago that you displayed "you are the manager of the tyne and wear wikiproject" they pulled it out as a fact to oppose you that you were too desparate to become a sysop. Just to say. Retiono Virginian 17:03, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Responded at the appropriate venue. Hi, I thought I would explain something to you regarding this [2] and if you read along you would see that user:Kafziel talked rudely to me ("There's no reason for us to take crap from you") and its that word(crap) which made be angry saying that I wasnt civil is wrong. He said that bad word and thats what lead to the big feud. I had an unblemished record and it got spoiled by Kafziel who thought just because he is an admin it gave him the right to ridicule me and for that reason is why I replied that I would make a better admin then him because till today I had never put a step wrong but I had to when somebody starts to point his finger at me..I loved this Site and wrote that on my user page but because of a couple of people who think they own Wikipedia, Iam forced to abandon what I loved best...Bye..--Cometstyles 14:44, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

There would be no second experience because somebody might use whatever happened today against me if I apply again and History would repeat itself..--Cometstyles 14:51, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
I think it would be best to just let the matter drop, although I'll leave that up to you. Personally, it would not be of any use to further prolong this dispute with Kaf. Cheers.
To Cometstyles: trust me, people will. I know, and I've had the [dis]honour of being desysopped. People will use silly things to oppose. Just got to keep your chin up. – Chacor 14:52, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

the looonnnnggg pink box

Responded at the appropriate venue. hi tellyaddict here's hoping that wot you all told me is going to work, no spaces, no punction, no nothing (except this double negative) just wanted to say thank you for your prompt response ta Perry-mankster 11:10, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Your username block requests

Responded at the appropriate venue. You struck out on one but it happens. :) Thanks for the efforts you are putting in. Sadly, few people watch the user creation logs through any format. So. Thank you. It's appreciated. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 11:20, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Did you know...

Responded at the appropriate venue. That with a bit 'o css you can change the colore of your pre box?

pre { border: 2px dashed red; }

or

pre { border: 2px dashed white; }

To add scroll boxes to the pre boxes and do away with the nasty overlap add

pre { overflow:auto; }

to your monobook.css. Enjoy! «razorclaw 21:08:57, 04-12-2007»

Hi, I'm Scott Jacobson. Someone told me there were some odd edits on my entry recently; I saw your name in the history and was wondering if you made them? If so, have we met?

Scott Jacobson entry

On moving articles

Cut and paste moves fail to preserve edit history, and become hard to fix; please refer to WP:MOVE. In the case of Fark.com, the title of the website, its legal page, and news sources seem to refer to it more often as Fark.com than as Fark. –Pomte 10:30, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Adoption

Alright Tellyaddict! I guess we can get started on it! --Coolspanner 16:18, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

I accept!

Thanks for adopting my so quickly, I feel all fuzzy inside now! I'm glad that I've been adopted by a Wikignome for that is what I wish to be. I don't think that I have any really valuable knowledge to pass on through wikipedia, but I can spot a spelling mistake for a mile away. I want to get involved in the community and help where I can.

Thanks again! Necronos 17:52, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, that would be great. I want to learn everything you can teach me, so that is a good place to startNecronos 17:56, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Ok, I thought it was it was a trick when you said to give you a warning because of the page move in bad faith, but I understand now. I'll give it another shot.

Question: How does a user go about removing a warning from their user page, can they just edit it out?Necronos 18:45, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

What I mean is that if a vandal got a warning, could they just remove it. Then if they got a second warning from someone else they would only be getting a Level 1 for the second time instead of a Level 2? Also, who monitors warnings to make sure that they are deserving and if a person gets too much that they are banned?Necronos 13:24, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I would love to learn about reverting vandalizm. Sorry that I'm not on a lot, it is my days off from work and that is where I spend most of my time online! Necronos 13:22, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Would you like a second shot at RFA?

Having seen you at MFD and Editor review, I checked your edit history and found that you've made about 13,000 edits total, including almost 600 to AIV. Your RFA in January failed because of insufficient experience, and that clearly is no longer an issue. I would be happy to nominate you for adminship, and I would expect such a request to pass with >90% support unless you have problems that I don't know about. Please respond on my talk page. Best regards. YechielMan 05:13, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Wow, I would definitely support if you run again. PeaceNT 05:47, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
I didn't know about your 2nd RfA, I've been away for a month and just came back here yesterday. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck. I'll wait until June/July to support you then :) Oh, and if you'd like to have a co-nom, just give me a shout PeaceNT 09:09, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Re:Welcome back!

Thanks man. Glad to be back. =) Nishkid64 16:52, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey Telly, why did you remove the links on the Brian O'Meara page are they not useful to find the three brian o'meara's? Corkirish 18:17, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

apologies for all the trouble

Corkirish 18:23, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

I got this strange threatening message from you: This is the only warning you will receive. If you make personal attacks against other Wikipedians or subjects of Wikipedia articles or generally write inappropriate comments at the Wikipedia Sandbox you will be blocked from editing. TellyaddictTalk 18:46, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

What on earth is this about? All I did was practice with the sandbox. I thought that's what it's there for? Why the very vague menacing message?

Oh, I didn't realize it was a real header. I thought someone had put that there as part of their "experiment". Didn't realize it was for real. :) I'm pretty new to Wikipedia. Noillirt 18:58, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

SandBox

Hey! I stopped when you gave me my third warning, why did you give me another? 71.154.153.209 19:05, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

WelcomeBot

Hi, sorry but as Martinp23 already pointed out, this kind of bot will never archive consensus. Anyway, just as info, AWB isn't the best method to archive it. Welcome.py from the pywikipedia repository is far better. Snowolf (talk) CON COI - 16:14, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Virginia shooting

Hi Tellyaddict, I'm on wikibreak at the minute, but did you here what happened right in my state. Glad I live in Charlottesville quite far away from where the shooting happened. Retiono Virginian 19:18, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
