My name is Anam and I go to the University Of Washington. I am a double major, Health Studies and Biology. I want to go to medical school and become a Pediatrician. I want to become a Pediatrician becuase I love working with kids and I honestly know that they love me. My inspiration is my own doctor. I love the fact that a child can come to the hospital and as their doctor I can make them feel better. Helping others brings joy to me. During my free time I love playing volleyball or watching TV. I am an outgoing person and I just like to have fun :)

Article 1: Obesity In the United States https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obesity_in_the_United_States
I actually liked this article because it gives me a lot of information on obesity in the United States. Not only does it give information about obesity in the United States but it also explains what obesity really is, and what’s concerned obesity. It also gives you statistics about obesity in different age groups. I find that very helpful because the author worked hard on giving me, the reader realistic facts.
Article 2: Obesity in China- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obesity_in_China I specifically picked this article because I wanted to compare different countries to obesity in the United States. When I picked China for some reason I thought china would have less obesity rates then America but after reading this article I noticed that there isn’t much difference.
Article 3: Obesity- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obesity I picked this article because the main topic I will be researching on in this class will be “Obesity”. This article gives me information about what obesity is in general. This article gives me a clear view of what obesity in general really is. This specific article also helps me a lot because it gives me background knowledge on what I will me talking about and also helps me come up with more questions that I can ask to help me expand my research.
Article 4: Teen Obesity- BY: Anam When I searched up “teen obesity” on Wikipedia nothing came up and asked for me to create a page about teen obesity on Wikipedia. I want to create this page because I really want to know more about teen obesity. I honestly feel like in the country I live in teen obesity is higher then any other obesity. If I were to create this page I would give statistic about teen obesity, I would charts compare obesity in different age groups. I feel like teen obesity is an issue and people should talk about it.
Article 5: Fat acceptance movement- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fat_acceptance_movement This article is very interesting to a level. I honestly don’t know what I feel about this article. I disagree and also agree. I believe no one should be judged by there appearances but I also feel like that obesity is a big deal and people should not blind themselves form the truth. In other words people should accept who they are and just work on getting better. Yeah I get what this article is talking about but I also believe that people should not just think about being accepted but also think about getting better.
