Shorts Wars is a web series created by several YouTubers in 2023. The series became popular online due to their prior popularity (100k+ subscribers), and the YouTube Shorts algorithm.
Plot[edit]
Season 1[edit]
Primarily set in the 2020s (specifically 2023), Shorts Wars is basically a web series where YouTube Shorts creators get hacked and their clones become them. This is referring to the major copycat channels that repost their content on several platforms (on YouTube, TikTok, etc.) In total, 8 channels were asked to quit posting YouTube Shorts a week prior of the hacking, and if they didn't then they would get hacked. The reason this happened to begin with is because they were sent a sponsorship by this random company/VPN called 'Clone VPN'. Once they accepted this sponsorship, they'd have QR codes that would lead to an unlisted video, where this character (that will be referenced to as the boss) is telling creators to stop uploading shorts by the end of next week, and if they don't then their channel will be taken over. Only 3 channels didn't accept this sponsorship (or quit uploading Shorts) and they are the only ones that weren't infected by the clones. They were then cloned before they took over the channel. RoyalPear had an error at being cloned at first due to R34, Riggy's clone broke the machine because it was a mixture of a two animals, Joe Caine's clone failed because the sponsorship was denied, and MogSwamp & knsplash had a firewall (MogSwamp was believed to listen to the boss's rules, but this was confirmed to be false in the video where they were cloned). The clones then took over the channels. Here's what happened to the YouTubers before their clone took over: Jonny RaZeR was shot, but didn't die since he had a glass ball in his jacket which saved him from the bullets but pretended to die (and behind the scenes, was secretly posting YouTube Shorts giving updates), Riggy (from Danno Cal Drawings) was teleported to the Clone VPN HQ (laboratory), same with RoyalPear, Phaleur was locked in a room (One minute our time, One hour Phaleur's time), and Bundun was pulled under the table & was tied up there. The clones were then just uploading YouTube Shorts as the normal creators to make the audience think everything was fine, and then the laboratory was exploded (due to teamwork & RoyalPear's clone exploded it). Upon this happening, the real creators got their channel back. They also had a boss fight with their clones. Once the boss found out the laboratory was destroyed & they got their channels back, he made one last video and the boss is revealed to be Jonny RaZeR.
