Hello, I am the Guardian of the Wiki. Ready to protect the pages from bias edits. Mhm.
I also like cats.
Did you know that I am in fact not a Burger King person? Well know you do! All the way with Wendy's!
Joe Biden for President in 2008!
Jack Kennedy was underrated
Donald Trump for President! (2000)
And I will make an argument for all five
Washington - he created the 2 term tradition, which stood until FDR (and was later cemented into law). He created the presidential cabinet, he facilitated the first peaceful transition of power (something a certain someone should look into), he signed the Jay Treaty, lots of good stuff there.
Eisenhower - Signed the Civil Rights Act of 1957, helped end the Korean war’s fighting, he supported the brown v board of education ruling, he appointed Earl Warren to the Supreme Court as Chief Justice, he spoke out against the military industrial complex in his farewell speech.
John F. Kennedy - Appointed Thurgood Marshall to be a judge (later LBJ would make him a Supreme Court justice), he created the peace corp, he submitted the most major civil rights legislation yet (although it wouldn’t pass until after his death in 1964), he federalized the Alabama national guard to force governor Wallace to integrate, he basically saved the world by refusing to invade Cuba during the Cuban missile crisis.
Calvin Coolidge - Indian Citizenship Act of 1924, last president to reduce national debt during his term, he reduced the scope of the federal government, and his entire philosophy was to basically leave people alone.
Thomas Jefferson - Louisiana Purchase, his handling of the Barbary pirates, he literally wrote the Declaration of Independence and Virginia statute of religious freedom, he eliminated the whiskey tax :tumbler_glass:, reduced a ton of national debt, mhm.
