Jack Massey Welsh, more commonly known as JackSucksAtLife, is a British youtuber who is known for collecting YouTube play buttons and getting Guiness World Records for himself and other youtubers. He has been very successful on the platform, achieving over one billion views across all of his channels.

Early Life

Jack was born in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, England on the 24th of June 1996. In his early YouTube days, he uploaded to a channel named SamSmellsOfApricots named after his childhood friend Sam. That original channel had videos filmed in the neighbourhood he lived in, which he has revisited to see his parents multiple times, with fans calling for a sequel to one of his early videos Banana Warfare.

Career

Jack created the channel JackSucksAtMinecraft in March 2013 and uploaded his first video on the 4th of April. It was the first episode of a series Jack's Farm and it was called Skinny Pete. Over the years he has amassed over half a billion views on that channel now named JackSucksAtLife and has 2.56 million subscribers as of November 2022. Jack has nine other channels apart from his main and SamSmellsOfApricots and they each have at least 100,000 subscribers.

JackSucksAtStuff was made in February 2019 and has over 900,000 subscribers. On that channel he posts a weekly Reddit video and sometimes gaming content from Fall Guys. More recently he has started to do what he calls comparison videos. These videos give a 1 in whatever chance of something happening to you and have hugely helped him advance towards 1 million subscribers on that channel.

JackSucksAtGeography is a geography related channel that was made in March 2020. That channel also has over 900,000 subscribers and mainly posts videos around flags and the different countries. He has on that channel learnt all the countries in the world, all the flags of the countries and has also recently started a monthly geography related Reddit video. Welsh has been known to have many embarrassing clips of himself in the past naming things like flags and countries completely wrong. Jack has also widely stated he would love to get two channels to 1 million subscribers in the same day but has slowly realised it will become very hard. He has also recently released the channel Geography Stuff where he posts geography related YouTube Shorts.

Jack Massey Welsh is a Tesla related channel of Jack's. Welsh purchased a Tesla Model 3 and started posting videos about it on his channel. He does experiments with a car, tries out Tesla products and also sees whether claims on things like TikTok are true or not. The channel has over half a million subscribers.

It has over 400,000 subscribers and only five videos. It was made because of a youtube glitch that allowed users to make their names longer than the fifty-character limit. However, Jack was not allowed the whole name on a playbutton.

JacksEpicYoutubeChannelFullOfFunTimesAndFunHiRickX is the original long channel name of Jack's. The HiRickX bit was added to say Hi to the packager of all YouTube playbuttons which is shown through packaged by Rick cards of which Jack has a collection. This channel has almost 400,000 subscribers.

turd boi420 is a channel renowned for its toaster reviews. Among the toaster review, he has a video with equal likes and dislikes and a lawn mower review. The channel has over 300,000 subscribers and concluded with the video 'turd boi last video'.

JackSucksAtClips is a channel dedicated to clips of Jack just doing whatever. It has almost 300k subscribers and its most popular video is 'JackSucksAtLife makes a Roblox account' in which Jack makes an account on the game Roblox but fails to make an accepted username multiple times. The 100k plaque for the channel is currently in the possession of TommyInnit.

NoContextJackSucksAtLife is a channel dedicated to clips of Jack that seem bad or funny out of context. For his 100k plaque for the channel he changed the name of the channel to i to make it the shortest possible username on a playbutton. The channel now has around 150k subscribers.

JackSucksAtEspañol is a channel where Jack's videos are translated into Spanish and posted. The channel was a bit of a failed experiment as he spent a lot of money advertising it and didn't get much in return. Today the channel sits at just over 100k subscribers.

Jack has earned himself a Guinness World Record by having 11 channels at over 100,000 subscribers which is the most for an individual. He has also helped Dream, GeorgeNotFound and TommyInnit earn some for themselves. He helped Dream get most subscribers for a dedicated Minecraft YouTube channel and most views for a Minecraft gameplay video. He got George the record for most viewed cooking Twitch livestream. Finally, he got Tommy the records for most followed Minecraft Twitch channel and most viewers on a Twitch livestream of Minecraft gameplay. He also sent Tommy a mystery box one time, with the JackSucksAtClips playbutton inside.

In August 2020 MrBeast set Jack a challenge to get a channel named Don't Subscribe to a million subscribers without posting a video on it. The prize was $100,000 from the American. After a year of advertising, Jack got the channel to a million subscribers and received the money. During the time of promoting it, he did many challenges include turning his Tesla pink. YouTube said as the channel didn't have videos for various reasons, he was not allowed a playbutton on the channel, however, they did send him some cupcakes.

Personal Life

Jack lives in Nottinghamshire with his girlfriend Becky and their two dogs Kong and Flossy. Becky also edits for him alongside his other editor Kai.
