I'm not sure what I would work on. If I do contribute anything to Wikipedia it would probably be something about Boxing or MMA.

Article evaluation

[edit]

When I was growing up I like many other kids loved Pokémon. I collected the cards and bought various toys but, the original show is what first got me interested in Pokémon. I still remember coming home after elementary school to watch Pokémon on the tv. Weather you have watched Pokémon or not you have probably heard a clip of the intro somewhere. This intro seems to be the most impactful song off the album 2.B.A master[1]. This being said it doesn't mean that the other songs of the album are not note worthy. I ended up visiting the albums page[2] on Wikipedia and found three aspects worth commenting on: its lack of information, dead links, it being up to date.

Lack of information

[edit]

The article is very limited. It fails to provide the reader with a range of information about the album. The article includes a small bit talking about how many copies have been sold worldwide but does not highlight how the album actually had an impact on the Pokémon franchise. The article also does not highlight that the phrase gotta catch em all  from one of the songs is the English slogan for the brand[3].

Dead links.

[edit]

While the author does do a good job at providing a range of links to other Wikipedia articles. There is still a couple of dead links were no page can be found. These dead links are for two tracks off the album which are 2.B.A Master[4] and PokeRAP[5] the last dead link is for Sheila Brody. These could be easily replaced with working external links. Beside having the few dead links the others seem to work fine.

Up to date

[edit]

It looks up to date as its stated that the song was produced 24 years ago which would be true since the song came out in 1999. They also have the amount of records sold in various countries. On a side note it is mentionable to say that the author did a good job at providing accurate information about the weekly chart position of the album between the years 1999-2000.

Conclusion

[edit]

Overall I would say that this article is ok. It is short and needs work but has some good qualities. The article is somewhat well structed despite being short. It also provides good links although a couple were dead. This article has the potential to be well written if more things were included and some changes were made.
