Landing Page[edit]

If you have reached this page you are probably thinking who is The Music Editor and why are you tampering with my Wikipedia page.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Ownership_of_content

The most likely reason is that you have forgotten a citation

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources

or that you have blatantly vandalised a page.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Disruptive_editing

Perhaps you have created a page about yourself

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Autobiography

or a company that you work for.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest#Financial_conflict_of_interest

Or stolen an image

Or you 'disagree' with science

Before you start complaining on my talk page or vandalising my user page, please read the following

Contact me[edit]

Please only contact me if you believe I have made a mistake on an article or you would like to ask a question about an article or edit of mine. I strictly do not accept requests for Wikipedia articles as I do not do this as a business or for money but as a hobby (Read the articles section on this page for more information).

I will happily accept a question or query about an article or edit so feel free to message me but you will be blacklisted from me ever dealing with your brand/band/organisation/yourself and you will be blocked and ignored from contacting me.

Articles[edit]

Hello there,

To sum up I create Wikipedia Pages to help establish the careers of emerging and upcoming artists. I do not accept requests or money to create a Wikipedia article for you as this is not how Wikipedia works. I create Wikipedia pages for emerging artists who seem to be on the rise for success.

I find new artists that I believe deserve a Wikipedia article via the following platforms:

  • NME & NME Emerging
  • The Next Big Sound
  • Rolling Stone
  • Billboard Emerging Artists
  • Twitter (& other social networks)

I use many different platforms to discover artists that are worthy of a Wikipedia article and then I do my best to increase there publicity using the different projects from Wikimedia such as Wikipedia and Wikiquote. This is not a business and I do not do this for money or via requests, requests will result in you being blacklisted from me ever assisting you. My advice to is to gain as much publicity as you can and social media following is a good place to start, otherwise talk to your management/promotion team if your a signed artist.

Thank You,

The Music Editor

Artists[edit]

Artists I have worked on: (Updated: 21st March 2018)

My process involves intertwining artists into each others pages, for example Oasis were inspired by the Beatles so I would add this to each others Wikipedia pages. This is why I end up editing more well known artists as well as smaller ones. Another example I did myself is that Odium Rise was influenced by Marilyn Manson and Oasis so on the Oasis and Marilyn Manson Wikipedia article it mentions who they influenced and I will add Odium Rise to that page. I do so for more references on, in this example, Odium Rise's Wikipedia page.
