I'm a British enthusiast of the American Civil War, and have recently completed an MA in History, with a 2:1 honours degree. My speciality is relations between Europe, especially the United Kingdom, and the Confederate States of America. Consequently, I intend to significantly expand the current article on Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Fremantle, and his book Three Months in the Southern States. I also intend to work on articles about other foreign observers in the Southern States, including Justus Scheibert and Fitzgerald Ross, and also on the Scottish blockade runner William Watson.
