I'm a longtime reader, new contributor.

I have too many interests to list; suffice it to say that 'Random article' has always been one of my favorite links at wikipedia.

I used to play around at everything2; I also have some copy-editing and fiction-writing experience. This means my words are occasionally spelled correctly.

My first wikipedia project has been helping to expand the stub for the new television show The Riches. No particular reason for this; I am not an uber-fan or anything, I just happened to start watching the show and noticed the article was...well, stubby. It's been a good learning experience, both in wiki coding and style, and in the give-and-take of open contribution. If it seems I've gone a little OCD on the article (just in terms of lots of edits), this has more to do with my bizarre love of re-reading and editing than trying to 'own' the article (although I've been a little firm with factual errors that get added). I guess it's hard not to feel a little bit of ownership, this being my first venture and all. I suspect I'll get over it.
