God is a person people tell themselves exists just to feel like they aren't brought into the world by mistake and think they have a purpose in life. Quoted by Rick and Morty. Morty says "Nobody exists on purpose. Nobody belongs anywhere. Everybody's going to die. Come watch TV?". In the Rick and Morty episode Rixty Minutes Summer finds out she was a mistake and her parents almost got an abortion while looking through Rick's alternate reality glasses. Summer looks through different realities of herself. In those realities she either doesn't exist or with Summer around the Smith family do things that are "too predictable" with their lives like play board games like, Chutes and Ladders and Yahtzee. Summer becomes jealous and heartbroken by this news and the fact that her parents were looking through alternate realities of themselves following their dreams and being successful wasn't helping too much either. When you hear something you don't know what to do about, you don't know how to react to it. Summer decides to run away and do crystal meth her whole life because she is living a lie that she was here for a reason. While Rick and Morty are on the couch watching Interdimensional Cable chillin' like bros as they usually do. Morty sees an angry Summer walk right in front of the TV and he goes to check on her. Morty walks in to Summer's room while she is packing all her things up to run away. Morty says he knows how she feels but Summer just rolls her eyes and continues to pack her things. Morty says he wants to show Summer something. Summer replies and says "No offense Morty, but a drawing from when you were 7 isn't going to make me feel like less of an accident". Morty than cuts to the chase and admits who Rick and Morty are. Morty goes back to episode Rick Potion 9 to tell Summer how they destroyed the entire world and started fresh in this reality and in this reality Summer's version of Rick and Morty died. Summer is horrified at this even darker news and asks Morty "So you are not my brother?" Morty than replies " I'm more than your brother, I'm a version of your brother you can trust when they say don't run" and afterwards the famous Rick and Morty quote comes in from Morty just to convince Summer to stay. Summer changes her mind and decides to watch TV with Rick and Morty. The episode ends with Beth and Jerry finding their place in their marriage and Rick, Summer, and Morty watching Ball Fondlers. (I still love that name by the way). If you think about this episode deep enough like I did. It is the most realistically detailed episode of Rick and Morty. I'm sure if there was a god all these disastrous events in history would have been avoided like, 9/11, JFK assassination, Las Vegas shooting, World War 1, World War 2, Boston Tea Party, Holocaust, and etc. But let's face it god is symbolic of feeling like we belong in life. Truth is no one is. That doesn't mean we need to end our life now, you only live once so don't do it, think if you really want to make that decision because it can't be unmade or undone. So do whatever you want and make the best of it while you still got a soul in your body.
