Dr. Kimberly Young has developed the first empirically-based treatment plan for Internet addiction.

She founded the Center for Internet Addiction in 1995 and travels nationally conducting seminars on the impact of the Internet.

DR. KIMBERLY YOUNG, PSY.D., a licensed clinical psychologist, is professor of management sciences at St. Bonaventure University. An internationally recognized pioneer in the field of Internet addiction, she is director of the Center for Online Addiction and author of the groundbreaking books, Caught in the Net and Tangled in the Web.

Dr. Kimberly Young is a psychologist and an internationally known expert on Internet addiction disorder and online behaviour. She founded the Center for Internet Addiction in 1995[1] and is a psychology professor at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with PhD with in clinical psychology[2].
