BlackBelt Technology is a software company founded in 2013, with an office in Budapest.^[1]

Based on the legend: the history of the company began in a pub - called Budaörs Fire Department -. During beer drinking and talking in the pub, the 3 founders - Gabor Privitzky (Privitzky Gábor In Hungarian), Andras Wolf (Wolf András in Hungarian) and Robert Sovegjarto (Sövegjártó Róbert in Hungarian) - ^[2] have decided to set up an IT company. A company where they will only work with the best ones. They calculated that if they sum up the experience of all three of them, they have been in the IT sector for 70 years. A blackbelt Information Technology. So they named the company: BlackBelt Technology. ^[3]

BlackBelt growth in 2016 required an upgrade in the company organization.

History[edit]

BlackBelt began with an idea in 2013 that the company will connect the best experts with the most exciting IT.

BlackBelt grew rapidly! Company’s team has grown ten-fold within year 2014.

JUDO software construction started in 2015. JUDO is a platform that serves the fast development of business applications. Judo reached the beta phase.

BleckBelt opened the nearshore center - located in Budapest - in 2016. The company have continued to offer IT solutions for international projects as well! Year 2016 was a milestone in the company life, as JUDO was introduced in client environment.

BlackBelt organisation was grown-up in 2017. The company growth in recent years required BlackBelt to upgrade its organization.

Year 2018: JUDO becomes a cloud-based development platform, main advantage is that it is built further by a development community.
