Tikkar Buhla is a Gram Panchayat located on Shivalik hills in the Hamirpur District of an Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Pahari(Kangri) is widely spoken in this village but Hindi or English is used for official work. This Panchayat contains several villages that are Tikkar Uparla, Ghaleda, Chatrot and Bajwal. It is also known as Tikkar Khatrian. The Village Post office is in Kanjian. It has shops of basic necessities like Dairy products, Fruits and Vegetables, Cobbler, PVC pipes, Photostat, Sweets, Chemist, Beauty Parlour, Flour Chakki, Cattle seller etc. It has well connected roads with Buses. This village is better connected with Jahu, Sarkaghat, Bassi, Tarkwari, Awahdevi, Kanjian, Bhareri, Taal, Bhota, Tauni Devi etc. The Kangra Co-operative Bank and Government Senior Secondary School is available for banking and good education. An Ayurvedic Dispensary and Anganwadi Centre are there for Public health and child education. Shiv temple, Nagni temple are there for worship whereas Yog Sadhan Ashram is for physical fitness of the people. The Government Degree College Kanjian(Bhoranj) is 3kms away from the village for the student studying after senior secondary. Nearest Government hospital is in Bassi and Private in Dashmal. It falls under Bamson Tehsil at Tauni Devi. The nearest Broad Gauge Railway station is in Una which is about 82kms and Narrow guage is in Palampur which is about 81kms. Domestic Airport is in Kangra which is about 104kms whereas International Airport is near Chandigarh about 209kms.
