How to determine the revision version number of an article, as in: {{Translation/Ref|de|Lyman Bradford Smith|oldid= 37950663}}

Go to the history page of the article in question. Click on the revision of interest (usually the latest one). When it opens, the proper address will be in the browser's address bar.

To get editing help, insert this on talk page:

{{helpme}}

If an existing page needs a redirect from a bad spelling, do a "go" to the bad spelled name, then select create page when that option is offered. Add this tag to that page: #redirect [[Name Of Correct Page]]

Tag to add to vandal's talk page (from Template:Uw-vandalism1):

{{subst:uw-vandalism1|Article}}

Kafziel's permanent block notice:

Because of the edits you made today, you've won yourself a permanent vacation from Wikipedia! Contributing to articles can be very stressful and time-consuming, and it's just too much for some people to handle. So I've set you free! Take a nap in a hammock, walk on the beach, fly a kite, or build a tree fort. If hang gliding or motorcycle racing is more your speed, you can do that, too! You can do whatever you like, as long as you're not editing Wikipedia. Hooray for you! [signature]
