Lhong 1919 is a group of old warehouses. It is the a new landmark and tourist attraction of Klongsan district,Bangkok,Thailand. It was once an old harbor that reflects the history of old traditional Chinese lifestyle and architecture. It has been renovated by Wanglee Family, the owner and the developer of Lhong1919 , with its 6,800 sq meters of co-working space, eateries and art and design shops which are the workplace of young artists.

'History' In the past it was the harbor named Huay Jung Long (Chinese : 火船廊) which means steamship because originally it was the steamership harbor and warehouse to receive vessels from China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.It was also the place where ancestors of Thai-Chinese families settled their lives after the immigration from China during the reign of King , Rama IV . Besides the harbor, Lhong was also the house of the shrine of Mazu, the goddess who is believed to bless sea travelers. It was owned by prayaphisasupaphon (Chuen) the primogenitor of the House of Bisalputra. (ไทย : พระยาพิศาลศุภผล (ชื่น) พิศาลบุตร) ‎. After that he sold the harbor to Wanglee Family in 1919. After the renovation the harbor is renamed from Huay Jung Long to Lhong1919 following the year the ownership was transferred to Wanglee Family.

'Interesting point to see in Lhong1919' 1. Lhong1919 was built in Sanhe Yuan Architecture (三合院) ,the old traditional Chinese architecture.There is a group of residential buildings in the three-section compound with the central main building and 2 wings and courtyard at the center. 2. Mazu Shrine of the Mazu goodness is located in the main building in Lhong, believed to bless and look over travelers at sea.

'How to get there' 1. By BTS - Get off at the BTS Krungthonburi station . Take the bus No.84,3 and get off the bus at Suwannaram Temple. Then take the bus No.6 and get off at Somdet Chao Phraya Hospital. Walk through the Thong Thammachat Temple alley to Lhong 1919 2. By boat - Take the Chaopraya Express boat (orange flag boat) at Sathorn pier.Then get off at Ratchawong pier and take a ferry boat to Dindaeng Pier then walk through the Thong Thammachat Temple alley to Lhong 1919.
