The Catholic Transcript is a monthly newspaper serving the metropolitan area of Hartford, CT and is the largest catholic newspaper in Connecticut.
History[edit]
The Catholic Transcript was first published on June 17, 1898. It was originally published as a weekly paper, and from it's formation on June 17, 1898 until October 25, 1996 that remained so. As demand declined, The Catholic Transcript became a monthly paper, and since December 1996, it has been so.[3]
