The 'Students Philadelphia' pact has brought on a new project this year. The recent phenom on that is taking the world by storm. The desired arrest of Joseph Kony, of the LRA. Much like it's previous projects, the SP is working full speed towards raising awareness in their district counties. Students of respected private and public schools in Penn, Westmoreland County, and elite societies are all gathering and fighting for a cause. Emile Michelle Briar, President of the Students Association and a senior SCHA, is working hard to gather students from different societies to team up in school and help address the state. "Most of the private schools such as ours, are very determined. The Invisible Children video has touched us all. It shows the power of media. And as a cultural media major, I have been astounded by the response. Almost every country out there is doing this! Joseph Kony is to be arrested. And he will be." "We're putting up posters and handing out fliers all over," Michael Enmrer, current of captain of the SCHA Polo team "We've basically brought the polo team, the lacrosse team, the arts society, the dramatic society and the choir are all out in the town, spreading the word. On 20th April, we'll all gather at Jenks football ground." The students from Jenks in Chestnut Hill, and Henry in Mt. Airy, have had a good response from it's alumni and faculty. Jenks has organized a fundraiser and several public speakings on the issue. These three praised schools are making quite an effort to spread awareness. Local newsstands, corner stores, boutiques, and post offices are all covered with "Make Kony VISIBLE" posters.
