She got her Ph.D. at Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas (CIMAT) in 2018 with the dissertation: "Topological, geometric and combinatorial properties of random polyominoes" under the advisors Matthew Keith Kahle and Victor Manuel Pérez Abreu.[1]
