I've been active lately in editing wine information -- often doing things such as moving lists of grapes in the appellation infobox (grape types go under the Varietal= category; volume of grape production goes under the Grape= category, people!). As a fan of both boxing and hockey, I often wind up editing articles in those arenas as well. I also edit random articles that I come across for grammar, spelling, and readability.
Elgin Reid Feb 2011 -- A player on my local ECHL hockey team.
Calistoga AVA June 2011 -- I was quite surprised that there was a Napa AVA without a corresponding article, especially one with as many famous wineries as Calistoga (Dominus sources there, Chateau Montelena is located there).
Swan Creek AVA June 2011 -- Never had a wine from that part of North Carolina, but since it's a newer AVA, finding info on it was easy, as the Federal Register article on it's creation is online.
Nook Simple Touch June 2011 -- Early adopter here; I bought one online at B&N.com for my wife that arrived before release day, and got one for myself on release day. The accompanying photo is mine too; the dog on the screensaver is my mutt, Francis.
Melody (grape) June 2011 -- Tried a couple of nice wines made with this grape on vacation in New York, liked them, saw there was no article.
Domaine Ponsot July 2012 -- Famous producer of Burgundy wine, only producer of 1er Cru Aligoté in Burgundy, and winery at the center of the Rudy Kurniawan wine counterfeiting case.
