The Lingerie Fighting Championship (Lingerie FC or LFC) is an American sports entertainment league that involves two or more women fighting (or pretending to do so) in a sexualized context for the purposes of providing a form of erotic entertainment. The women display grappling, mixed martial arts fighting techniques, and sometimes pro wrestling moves during matches. The LFC is an exclusively female promotion that sees fighters compete inside a boxing ring or MMA style cage while typically dressed in revealing clothing such as lingerie, bikinis, undergarments, and sleepwear.[1][2]

History

[edit]

According to Lingerie FC personnel, the promotion has allegedly hosted events since its inception in 2006.[3] This information is fictitious (or kayfabe) as the LFC was founded in 2014 and its first event was in April, 2014 (listed numerically as LFC 18). LFC primarily operates out of Las Vegas, Nevada, however in October, 2017 it held its first event in Slovakia.[4] The Lingerie Fighting Championship has featured notable talents such as;[5]

  • WWE wrestler Mia Yim portraying Megan “Baby” Doll
  • Former Impact and NWA Champion Allysin Kay portraying Beth “Mount Crush” Moore
  • Impact wrestler Katie Forbes portraying herself
  • Shimmer wrestler Sassy Stephie portraying Brenda “Juice” Jones
  • Former Shimmer Champion Cheerleader Melissa portraying Sheila “Crash” Cardinal
  • Former WWE/Impact Wrestling star Shelly Martinez portraying Shelly “Aphrodite” DaSilva
  • Independent wrestler Jennifer Thomas portraying Jenny “Bloody” Valentine
  • Independent wrestler Allie Parker portraying Allie “Babydoll” Parks
  • Ohio Valley Wrestling alumni Ray Lyn portraying Raya “Sugar Ray” Ryans
  • Former Shine Champion Taylor Made portraying Riley “Nuclear” Norris

Ruleset

[edit]

LFC does not have a unified ruleset as fights between competitors are considered sports entertainment. This was made public information since facing criticism from the Nevada Athletic Commission.[6] Although fighters display grappling, submission, and MMA techniques, punches and strikes to the face are not permitted. There are no weight classes.
