Apples

Introduction of Apples[edit]

Apples come from Apple trees. Apples can be related all the way back to the biblical story of Adam and Eve. They are thought to have originated about 4000 years ago.[1]

History of Apples[edit]

Apple trees originally started in Eastern Europe and Southwestern Asia. Today they are everywhere with over 7000 varieties. In 1800, Johnny Appleseed walked 100,000 square miles to plant apple trees.[2]

Types of Apples[edit]

There are many types of apples.[3]

Yellow Apples[edit]

Yellow apples are good for your heart, eyes, and immune system.[4]

Red Apples[edit]

Red apples are good for your heart and memory.[5]

Green Apples[edit]

Green apples maintain bones and teeth.[6]
