The bot will do the following:

  1. On the first day of every month, create new subpages of Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Featured log and Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Archived nominations with boilerplate text.
  2. Add a new line to WP:Featured article statistics at the beginning of every month.
  3. Create new subpages of WP:Today's featured article with boilerplate text (e.g., [1]). I'd probably want to create the subpages for one month in the future (e.g., all those for October on September 1, all those for November on October 1), to facilitate the scheduling of these articles, but the exact parameters can easily be changed.

I'm bundling a number of uncontroversial tasks here to avoid flooding BRFA too much. Ucucha (talk) 18:36, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
