Grog Shop The Grog Shop is a music venue in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, established in 1992. Notable for hosting a variety of national and international acts, the venue is also a springboard for local acts and a well-known mid-point for bands coming out of obscurity and into general acclaim.

The venue has hosted acts as obscure as The Locust and Holger Czukay and as well known as Oasis, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Frank Black and others.

While not well documented, the Grog Shop has played a key role in Cleveland's vibrant and eclectic music scene.

Many have compared it to New York's CBGBs club, as well as other well known national venues. While Cleveland may be famous for an industrial fire on the Cuyahoga River, it is also famous for being the home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Cleveland's contributions to American music, and the Grog Shop's involvement cannot be dismissed easily.
