"Who would study and describe the living, starts
By driving the spirit out of the parts:
In the palm of his hand he holds all the sections,
Lacks nothing except the spirit's connections."

- Character of Mephisto, Goethe’s Faust[1]

Why I am here...
  • Reading and writing are skills I love to practice.
  • I like organizing information.
  • I need alternative perspectives.
  • I use Wikipedia and care about what happens to it.
My particulars (we all have them)...
  • I prefer scholarly sources that reflect the level of quality an article should model.
  • We all have bias; instead of labeling someone, try describing your particular problem with their actions.
  • Try not to make so many assumptions, especially about other people.
  • Learn to criticize your own arguments. It saves everyone time.
  • Every page on the Internet should have a POV tag.
