"Remember the wisdom out of the old days"[edit]

I've always been deeply interested in history, the last year or so though, with having learnt most of what I feel can be of real use, much more of it and I'd get rather depressed, but maybe I just look at things differently now since that interest has in large part been superseded by philosophy, it's been festering since my younger years, but it's only really come to light in the last few months, my favorite is Nietzsche, he's the best, even if some of the concepts of biology in his work are outdated, giving consideration to the fact he was writing in the mid to late 19th century, he was really ahead of his time, and his writings regarding psychology still stand up really rather well, and who knows what influence he's had on the field, and as it turns out, those are two of my other two fields of interest! I generally like the idea of being, or striving to be, a renaissance man, without meaning to sound too pretentious, I do think I do fit quite a few of the criteria even if I'm barely even a young man, but there's always the drive toward greatness!

Language[edit]

As odd as it may seem to any friends that can speak both languages, English is technically only my second language, my first being Arabic, I suppose it's owed mostly to the fact that most things worth my eyes and ears just happen to be things I consume in English, whether because of comprehension or because of the, shall we say, unfavorable intellectual situation in my corner of the world, whose near future I'm personally very pessimistic about, but I can see good things once things are finished falling apart and the rise from that can begin

Asides from that, I'm trying to learn a few languages, I just really need to make a habit out of one or another!
