Gangrar are formally known as 'Ramgarh' for the old fort in gangrar which built to Gujjars.
The completed Golden Quadrilateral highway system passes through Gangrar, connecting it to much of the rest of India. The East West Corridor (Express Highway) also crosses it. Gangrar is situated on National Highway No.79.
