ABOUT WALE KOOL

Wale Kool is a multi talented musician based in London, United Kingdom. He has featured in so many performances in London and outside London. Professionally, he trained as a Sound Engineer and Music Producer under a renown music producer legend Lemmy Jackson in Nigeria in the year 1993. He is a profound music tutor on piano and set of drums. He has produced a lot of musical works while in Nigeria and in United Kingdom.

HIS ORIGIN

Wale Kool was born in the city of Ile Ife in the late sixties into the family of Mr. & Mrs Olawale. He originated from Osogbo in Osun State of Nigeria. He attended Anglican Central Primary School in Ile-Ife. After completing primary education, he went further to Oranmiyan Memorial Grammar School in Ile-Ife. His love for music showed forth while in grammar school. He used to sing and dance a to his friends. He was also a notable student as a talented fine-artist. He demonstrated his artistic nature and great creativity in most of his paintings and drawings.

Later on, he attended St. John’s Grammar school, Ile-Ife. He also studied A/Level at former ‘OSCAS’ Ile-Ife. He became convinced of his chosen career in music, so he decided to make the bold step by going into Obafemi Awolowo University of Ile-Ife as a Music undergraduate. He was a member of the famous ‘AMUS’ [Association of Music Student] Band. He was equally a member of the famous Obafemi Awolowo University Orchestra band as a percussionist. He was fondly called ‘Henry Casino’ and ‘Reggae Boy’ because of his love for singing reggae music during musical concerts organized by the department.
